About The Position

The Loft Lounge Beverage Server is responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in the lounge and casino areas. This role requires a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. The server must maintain the appearance of their station and service areas, demonstrate an upbeat and outgoing demeanor, and adhere to specific grooming standards. Regular attendance and flexibility in scheduling are essential due to the nature of the hospitality and casino industry, with a reasonable expectation of working varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, and being on-call during peak times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months prior beverage server experience including work with point-of-sale systems, liquor dispensing systems, and cash control policies, practices, and protocols.
  • Ability to obtain an Oklahoma ABLE license.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions from written, oral or schedule form.
  • Ability to adapt to changing processes and procedures based on new technologies and changing procedures.
  • Maintain high standards; display enthusiasm and team spirit in promoting a friendly group working environment.
  • Competency to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitor processes; concentrate on routine work details.
  • Demonstrate a high level of service delivery to ensure guest satisfaction; handle service failures and prioritize guest and team member needs.
  • Capability to remain open-minded and change opinion based on new information; perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change; manage transitions effectively from task to task; adapt to varying guest and team member needs.
  • Prepare for known problems or opportunities in advance; undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in the lounge and casino areas in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and/or laws.
  • Handle various forms of cash transactions.
  • Ensure the appearance of assigned station and service areas is maintained.
  • Demonstrate an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
  • Effectively communicate with team members, regulatory agency personnel, and guests, resolving guest service issues in accordance with authority.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
  • Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
  • Work varying schedules to meet business needs, including weekends, holidays, events, and peak seasons.
  • Be scheduled on duty and/or “on-call” during busy times.
