Beverage Server - Oculus Bar
About The Position
The Beverage Server at Oculus Bar is responsible for developing and maintaining a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal and external guest service. This role involves adhering to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures, including taking and delivering guest orders accurately and in a timely manner. A key responsibility is ensuring alcohol is served according to company policy, with an understanding of guest limitations and relevant procedures. The position also requires maintaining clean and organized work and guest areas, ensuring the safety and security of team members and guests, and performing daily maintenance of bar equipment and POS systems. Additionally, the Beverage Server must be knowledgeable about all promotions and events, and perform other duties as assigned. The work environment can include bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
Requirements
- Must be knowledgeable of company alcohol policy.
- Must have knowledge of guest limitations related to alcohol service and company / state policy and procedures regarding those limitations.
- Must perform daily maintenance of all bar equipment and POS systems.
- Must have knowledge of all promotions and events.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
- Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Takes orders from guests and returns these orders in a timely manner and correctly according to order given.
- Ensures alcohol is served according to the company alcohol policy.
- Keeps work areas and guest’s common areas clean and organized.
- Has knowledge of guest limitations related to alcohol service and company / state policy and procedures regarding those limitations.
- Ensures the safety and security of team members and guests.
- Uses daily maintenance of all bar equipment and POS systems.
- Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of all promotions and events.
- All other duties as assigned.
