About The Position

This role is responsible for providing friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members. The Beverage Server will resolve service problems according to guidelines, appear in publicity photos, and promote casino events and programs. Key duties include providing fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests, carrying full trays on every round, monitoring guest alcohol consumption and intervening as needed, taking drink orders, communicating with bartenders, assisting in drink preparation, and presenting drinks to guests. The position also involves handling money according to procedure, operating a cash register, making change, making deposits, maintaining a clean and stocked workstation, assisting with clearing guest areas, and participating as a team member to ensure smooth operations. Additional responsibilities include declaring tips, meeting department uniform and appearance standards, adhering to attendance guidelines and company policies, keeping work areas clean and safe, performing duties responsibly, and performing other compatible duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Excellent customer service/communication skills.
Ability to count money and change correctly.
Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification.
Ability to earn and maintain a current Food Handlers Card.
Ability to earn and maintain RBS Certification within 60 days of employment.
Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.
Ability to read and interpret documents In English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Must be able to efficiently and accurately count money and gaming chips and make a change.
Possess the ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Knowledge of tray service cocktail ingredients and/or prior server experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
