Beverage Server/Bartender
About The Position
This position is for a Beverage Server/Bartender at Indigo Sky Casino. The role involves providing exceptional guest service, delivering drinks, and maintaining a clean casino floor and bar area. Key responsibilities include consistently circulating in assigned areas, checking customer identification to confirm drinking age, handling cash and credit card transactions, operating a POS system, mixing and serving drinks and/or food, and accurately managing tabs. The successful candidate must be well-organized, able to professionally refuse service to intoxicated customers, and adhere to all company policies and uniform requirements. The role demands above-average oral communication skills, excellent customer service, problem-solving capabilities, and a high capacity for learning. The employee will also be required to follow any other instructions and perform any other duties requested by their supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service skills
- Beverage and bartending skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license
- Ability to obtain an Oklahoma liquor license
- Above average oral communication skills

- Ability to carry trays with beverage or food items weighing up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service at all times
- Deliver drinks to customers in professional manner
- Consistently circulate in assigned area to ensure guests receive requested beverages
- Able to read and check a customer’s identification to confirm that the customer is of drinking age
- Receive money and / or credit cards and be able to use a credit card machine and cash register
- Keep casino floor area clear of glasses and bottles
- Professionally refuse to serve customers who appear to be intoxicated
- Wear required uniforms and follow all company policies and procedures
- Operate POS system and mix and serve drinks and/or food while serving as a bartender
- Keep accurate records of tabs and collect the proper amount when guest has finished
- Pour drinks quickly according to beverage guidelines
- Maintain the bar area to keep it clean
- Follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor
