About The Position

Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company that has served Idaho and Montana for four generations. Beverage merchandisers travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets along their route to ensure products are stocked, displayed, and rotated correctly. The position involves working independently across multiple retail locations and is active and dynamic rather than a 9-to-5 office job.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no major violations.
Reliable transportation for use throughout the workday and proof of auto insurance.
Ability to regularly lift and move cases weighing 20–30 pounds.
Ability to bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work independently across multiple retail locations, including early mornings and weekends or peak holiday periods.

Nice To Haves

Self-motivation, as there will not be a supervisor on site.
Organization, excellent attention to detail, and a customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

Handle a wide array of beverage products safely and efficiently.
Replenish shelves, coolers, displays, and backstock areas with beverage products.
Rotate products to comply with expiration dates and freshness standards.
Build, maintain, and dismantle branded promotional displays and endcaps.
Install signage, decals, and promotional point-of-sale materials.
Safely use manual equipment, including hand trucks, to lift, stack, and transport beverage products.
Drive a company or personal vehicle between stops.
Follow directions communicated by the sales representative and merchandising supervisor.
