About The Position

Blue Chip Group is seeking a Beverage Maintenance & Reliability Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for managing the maintenance and reliability programs to ensure the efficient and continuous operation of plant equipment and facilities. The position involves developing and implementing maintenance strategies, optimizing equipment performance, and leading a team of maintenance professionals to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance and reliability management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in leading maintenance teams and managing maintenance programs.
  • Experience with reliability engineering practices and tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in maintenance and reliability (e.g., CMRP, CRL) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and programs.
  • Establish preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are aligned with operational goals and safety standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development needs.
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement reliability engineering practices to improve equipment uptime and performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance and reliability.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor and control maintenance expenses and capital expenditures.
  • Provide financial reports and forecasts related to maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the management of plant assets and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and documentation.
  • Implement asset management systems and best practices.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Promote a safe working environment and culture.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive maintenance and reliability improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the procurement of maintenance supplies and services.
