What You Will Achieve In this role, you will: The Reliability Maintenance Manager is expected to function in a hybrid role where you utilize subject matter expertise to support the maintenance reliability activities in addition to leading a team of Reliability Maintenance Engineers. Develop strategies and methods to improve preventive maintenance processes and procedures, enhancing equipment performance. This includes but is not limited to networking with key Pfizer Reliability SMEs at the global engineering level or at other sites as well as industry to adopt and implement best practices. Lead and manage people, technology, and financial resources within the department. Actively share knowledge and identify potential improvements in processes or products, taking risks to develop innovative ideas. Solve moderately complex problems within your expertise and assist with issues outside the department. Recognize development needs in others, collaborate to create development plans, and manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, coaching, and ongoing assessment. Solicit input, explain complex concepts, and persuade others to adopt a point of view while effectively sharing your own perspective and rationale. Provide technical engineering oversight for project execution plans and engineering studies for equipment component installation. Support programs and systems with procedures and training, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements, including SOPs, cGMP, safety, quality, OSHA, and other standards. Facilitate equipment-based Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations, govern maintenance planning and scheduling, foster teamwork, encourage colleague development, and provide salary planning and change management recommendations. Perform equipment evaluations to determine and justify new equipment, equipment replacement, and incorporate into the capital plan. Provide technical input and assist with coordination and escorting of outside vendors and contractors. Collaborate within the Engineering organization and with peer organizations such as Quality and Operations, and EH&S, to ensure compliance and production remains on schedule. Ensure adequate communication with key stakeholder groups.
