Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Beverage Equipment Delivery Specialist to join our team. We are jointly owned by Suntory and PepsiCo. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company driving standards and licensing requirements.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical prior to first day of employment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills via phone to schedule appointments.
  • Must be able to maintain daily work logs to include manifest, contracts, VCR log book, etc.
  • Able to travel daily to assigned accounts. Overnight travel may be required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and must be able to learn basic programming for monetary systems and all vending equipment.
  • Able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service preferred.
  • Computer skills and/or ability to learn Hand Held Computer (HHC) preferred.
  • Needs to enjoy working outside and must be a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Safely, effectively, and efficiently provides delivery, removal, and movement of all company coolers and vending assets in an assigned territory.
  • Ensures the accuracy of all signed agreements between customers and PBV prior to removing or placing equipment, and safely removes and installation of assets at PBV customer locations.
  • Provides “Service that Sells” to both internal and external customers by, greeting customer, validating equipment requests, placing equipment, testing equipment and educating customer.
  • Responsible for the daily operation of a handheld computer (HHC) to accurately remove and place equipment impacting capital dollars.
  • Processes equipment agreements and daily paperwork in accordance with SOP’s.
  • Pre-calls customers to confirm delivery and pick up of equipment via schedule.
  • Drives a commercial vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, strictly adhering to all safety rules.
  • Other duties as assigned
