MML Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and visionary Beverage Director to lead and oversee beverage programs across our portfolio of restaurants and hospitality concepts. This senior leadership role is responsible for shaping best-in-class guest experiences through innovative and thoughtful beverage offerings, while driving financial performance, operational excellence, and team development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in beverage leadership within a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hospitality group
  • Proven experience managing multi-unit or multi-concept beverage programs preferred
  • Deep knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, and emerging beverage trends
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with a passion for mentorship and education
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong financial acumen, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Ability to balance creativity with operational execution
  • Ability to travel between locations as needed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Must occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to adjust focus and work in varying noise levels
  • Must undergo a comprehensive background check if an offer is extended

  • Relevant certifications (Sommelier, WSET, Cicerone, or equivalent) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and evolve beverage programs across multiple concepts, including wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings
  • Ensure all beverage menus align with each concept’s identity, culinary direction, and guest experience goals
  • Drive innovation while maintaining consistency, quality, and operational feasibility
  • Partner with General Managers and culinary teams to deliver cohesive and memorable dining experiences
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire bar and service teams across locations, fostering a culture of excellence and hospitality
  • Design and implement comprehensive training and education programs for beverage knowledge and service standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, producers, and industry partners
  • Oversee beverage purchasing, inventory, pricing strategies, and cost controls to meet financial targets
  • Analyze performance metrics and drive revenue growth through strategic programming and initiatives
  • Support openings, menu rollouts, and special events across the portfolio
  • Ensure all beverage operations comply with company standards and local, state, and federal regulations
