About The Position

Nuzzled within the historic lands of Mauna Lani, our Beverage Cart Attendant will be responsible for serving food and/or beverage on our beautiful Francis I'i Brown golf courses. With the backdrop of an iconic view, he or she will take and deliver all food and beverages orders and ensure the accurate recording and receipt of all chits. Additionally, our beverage cart attendant will build relationships with our guests and ensure that service excellence is met through attentive, heartfelt service. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people and have a genuine spirit for servicing guests in a warm and helpful manner that exceeds their expectations.

Requirements

  • Must be of minimum 18 years of age.
  • Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
  • Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to obtain a TB Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
  • Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine and experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serving food and/or beverage on the golf courses.
  • Taking and delivering all food and beverage orders.
  • Ensuring the accurate recording and receipt of all chits.
  • Building relationships with guests.
  • Ensuring service excellence through attentive, heartfelt service.
  • Maintaining complete knowledge of and strictly abiding by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
  • Understanding and anticipating guests’ needs, responding promptly, and acknowledging all guests.
  • Handling guest complaints following procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Benefits

  • The base salary for this position is $17.19 hourly.
