About The Position

The Beverage Cart Attendant plays an important role in enhancing The Medallion Club experience by providing warm, attentive, and efficient food and beverage service both on the course and within the clubhouse. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with members, delivering exceptional hospitality, and upholding club standards in a member‑focused environment. The role requires a friendly, outgoing personality and a strong commitment to service excellence.

Requirements

  • Previous food and beverage service experience preferred.
  • High‑energy, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for exceeding member and guest expectations.
  • Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
  • Commitment to hospitality, safety, and excellence in a member‑focused environment.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, specials, and offerings.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of all liquor, beer, and wine available to members and guests.
  • Accurately record and process all food and beverage sales.
  • Create memorable experiences—indoors and outdoors—that members and guests will want to repeat.
  • Greet each guest warmly with an introduction, using their name whenever possible.
  • Provide attentive, personalized service by taking and fulfilling orders accurately, offering additional items, and anticipating guest needs.
  • Offer desserts and beverages, remove items as needed, replenish utensils, and ensure a polished service experience.
  • Properly open and pour wine tableside in accordance with club standards.
  • Obtain and manage assigned bank responsibly.
  • Check fuel and fluid levels before use.
  • Follow all procedures for obtaining food, ice, beverages, and sundries, including opening and closing inventories.
  • Stock the cart with food, beverages, ice, sundries, and emergency supplies.
  • Meet every guest at least twice on each nine to ensure consistent service.
  • Reconcile bank and inventory at the end of the shift.
  • Clean and store the cart properly.
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the clubhouse.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager on duty.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service, teamwork, and upholding club standards.
