About The Position

This position involves completing opening and closing duties, which include setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, and securing the premises. The attendant will also be responsible for setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas, including ice, glassware, and paper supplies. They will remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables, and maintain the cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools according to set-up guidelines. The role requires adherence to all company and safety policies, reporting of accidents and unsafe conditions, and completion of safety training. A professional appearance and demeanor are expected, along with maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets. The attendant must welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation. Clear and professional communication is essential, as is developing positive working relationships and supporting team goals. Quality expectations and standards must be met. The job involves reading and visually verifying information, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and performing physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are required for manipulating objects. The role also requires navigating uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and service ramps, as well as reaching overhead, below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Check with captain or supervisor before leaving at end of shift.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  • Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables.
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools, following all set-up guidelines.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
