About The Position

The LSS Better Together Program pairs volunteers with older adults aged 60+ to foster community connections and build trusting relationships. This role will act as the primary coordinator for the program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, plus one to two years' experience in related human service field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Public speaking and excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency auto insurance requirements
  • Must successfully complete all agency background checks
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Previous or current volunteer management or older adult programming is preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational and event planning skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement volunteer and older adult recruitment strategies
  • Organize and lead orientation and ongoing training for program volunteers and older adults
  • Supervise and support matches
  • Serve as a positive resource and reliable presence for volunteers and older adults
