About The Position

Integrated Labor Solutions (ILS) is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Benefits Support Representative to join our team in San Diego, CA. At ILS, we are committed to delivering exceptional “Platinum Service,” which means not only meeting but exceeding expectations by providing proactive support, addressing future needs, and ensuring customers are well-informed about the products and services we offer. As a Benefits Support Representative, you will play a vital role in assisting our customers with enrollment processes, resolving plan or provider issues, and serving as an advocate to address their concerns. This entry-level position is based in an Omni-channel contact center and provides ample training opportunities for professional growth and career advancement. Requirements

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Must pass background and reference checks
  • Must be able to come into the office
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Type at least 40 words per minute
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Active listening
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Flexible communication styles
  • Know how to efficiently navigate customer calls
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls, chats, and emails
  • Assist customers regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
  • Process enrollment changes and payments
  • Upselling and cross-selling
  • Distribute benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility
  • Collect and report on customer feedback
  • Basic data entry
  • Perform other duties as needed
