About The Position

People Corporation is seeking a Benefits Specialist in Ontario to support their growing Large Client Strategy division. Reporting to the Vice President of Client Management, the role centers on creating polished client materials (presentations, reports, RFPs, and communications), coordinating client campaigns, and collaborating with internal teams and insurance partners. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and organized, with advanced PowerPoint skills, strong written and verbal English, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities independently. Canva, Adobe InDesign, bilingualism, and industry designations (GBA, LLQP, CEBS) are all considered assets. Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is self-motivated and organized, with advanced PowerPoint skills, strong written and verbal English, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to accurately document, maintain and track prospects and clients within the company's workflow and CRM systems
  • Highly developed MSOffice skills; an advanced level of PowerPoint is required
  • Proficiency in Canva and Adobe InDesign to produce polished, on-brand client-facing materials
  • Experience in Canva, Adobe InDesign and PPT is a must
  • Client-focused with an unwavering commitment to service excellence
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent proficiency in English - both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated capacity for independent work and proactive initiative, coupled with proficient time management skills to effectively prioritize prospect, client, and internal commitments
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Nice To Haves

  • Industry designations (GBA, LLQP, CEBS) are all considered assets.
  • Group Benefits Associate (GBA), LLQP, and/or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) is an asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset but not required

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear and concise client materials including presentations, benchmarking reports, proposals, Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions and employee communications
  • Organize and execute on client initiatives to support objectives including conferences, client seminars, campaigns and newsletters
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, clients and insurance carrier partners to strategically support client and company goals and objectives
  • Design customized client communications that align with brand standards and requirements
  • Efficiently manage competing priorities and deadlines while remaining agile and responsive to evolving client and business needs
