The Benefits Network Engagement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting Food Bank For New York City’s community-based organization (CBO) partner network, who together drive strategic initiatives focused on alleviating hunger and promoting economic empowerment. This role is responsible for liaising with, recruiting and coaching community organizations to participate in SNAP outreach and enrollment services, technical assistance, training, and serves as a key point of contact for Food Bank members who participate in the Food Bank’s SNAP Partner Network and the award-winning Tiered Engagement Network (TEN). The Benefits Network Engagement Coordinator builds and maintains relationships with partner agencies, coordinating resources and capacity-building efforts to ensure seamless access to critical food and economic benefits for low-income New Yorkers. This position reports to the Benefits Network Manager and requires office-based work, as well as virtual and field-based (in-person, on-site) support across New York City.
