About The Position

ChaseSource is seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Counselor - Bilingual to support a dynamic Health and Insurance Benefits (HIB) Operations team. This position is ideal for an organized professional who enjoys coordinating projects, maintaining records, preparing reports, and providing exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. OR High school diploma (or equivalent) plus additional full-time experience in healthcare administration, government, communications, public relations, or a related field may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Minimum of two (2) years providing complex administrative or program support.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects and priorities in a professional office environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience maintaining databases, reports, and electronic records.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting healthcare or finance operations.
  • Previous experience working within a government agency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain departmental planning calendars and track project milestones.
  • Administer and maintain SharePoint sites, filing systems, and departmental records.
  • Coordinate department travel arrangements.
  • Serve as the Records Management Liaison.
  • Maintain production reports and operational trackers.
  • Support Member Ally Team (MAT) reporting and inquiries.
  • Manage system access reporting.
  • Maintain contractor rosters, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Review monthly contractor invoices for accuracy.
  • Respond to inquiries from health plan participants, school district representatives, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Assist with departmental timesheet reporting.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate department activities.
  • Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate meetings with vendors and advisory committees.
  • Assist with annual retiree engagement and Benefits Administrator meetings.
  • Monitor department budgets and submit budget requests.
  • Review invoices and maintain inventory of printed materials.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Mail and Print Rooms.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and electronic files.
  • Verify and organize electronic documentation.
  • Process correspondence and administrative documents.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Welcome visitors and answer incoming telephone calls.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
