Benefits Administration (40%): Manage monthly insurance billings, allocations, and benefit accounts reconciliations. Review/Process 401k changes, flex spending enrollments, and maintain accurate records. Handle daily questions related to benefits, 401k, and leaves from employees. Compliance Support (10%): Assist with ACA reviews and 1095-C reporting, Assist with update of yearend benefit calculations for payroll purposes. Provide support with VETS-4212, EEO-1, CMS, CA pay reporting (EEO-1 & pay combined), Lincoln’s 500+, and 125 discrimination testing. Payments and/or reporting for workers’ compensation – WA/ND/OH Maintain OSHA 300 logs and assist with OSHA DART & TRIR calculations. Assist in ensuring compliance and training as needed for HIPAA and FMLA. Employee Support (25%): Assist employees with questions on benefits, leaves, and workers’ compensation claims. Assist/coordinate with case representatives on workers’ compensation leaves and work with carriers on leaves of absence. Reporting & Documentation (10%): Create, maintain, and support a variety of reports, documentation or queries as required or requested including: Receive, record, and report workers' compensation injuries. Audits related to retirement, benefits, and general ledger. Location reports for workers’ comp carriers, and medical support carriers. Census reports for benefit purposes. Benefits-related reports and dashboards. Program Support (10%): Support the HR Benefits Manager in arranging webinars, health fairs, flu shot clinics, hearing tests, and wellness challenges. Update and maintain benefits enrollment programs. Additional Duties (5%): Assist with DISA employee setup, drug screens, background checks, and payments. Ensure accurate documentation and support for OSHA facilities and compliance. Assist with processing STD claims and payments. HR Orientation Safety Committee Supervisory Responsibilities : No formal supervisory role. Education and Experience Requirements: The position requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience. Experience with HRIS systems preferred. Minimum of 1 years of experience in benefits administration or a related role required. Familiarity with benefits programs, compliance regulations, and reporting requirements preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
