About The Position

Contract position for a Benefits Coordinator to join a leading Company located in the Laurel, MD surrounding area.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for new hire questions related to health and welfare benefits.
  • Provide general health and welfare benefits, customer service support to staff and retirees via phone and email.
  • Resolve or raise issues to Benefit Specialist.
  • Review new hire and QLE enrollment requests in Work Day.
  • Establish retiree records by leading data entry of new benefit elections, collecting required documents, and preparing files.
  • Facilitate online enrollment changes for retirees and their dependents.
  • File room maintenance, including filing and purging.
