About The Position
This position is responsible for reviewing applications for various public assistance programs and determining the eligibility of applicants and recipients for public assistance programs through interactive interviewing and fact gathering. This involves verifying that application forms have been filled out correctly and checking the information on the forms for accuracy. Specialists may need to follow up with applicants multiple times. The training period is approximately 7 weeks and is entirely in-person. Resources may transition to FTE after the training period.
Requirements
- 2+ Years of Customer Service experience
- Able to work onsite and have reliable transportation
- High School Diploma
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Must be local at time of submission
- Available for in person interviews within 1 week of the posting close date
- Able to start within 2 weeks of an offer being made
Nice To Haves
- Experience Performing Eligibility Reviews
- Previous Insurance Adjudicator Experience
