Supports the administration and optimization of team member benefits and wellness programs. Reviews data, conducts research, ensures compliance with regulations, and assists with the implementation of benefits initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
  • Knowledge of benefits programs and regulatory requirements
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly to any audience
  • Proven ability to handle situations with sensitivity and discretion
  • Firm organizational, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and data review skills
  • Proficiency in relevant technology (i.e., benefits management software, Microsoft Suite, HCM, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and utilize data to make recommendations
  • Valid Driver’s License required.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications related to benefits administration (e.g., CEBS, PHR, or SPHR)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates benefits-related data to assess program effectiveness, utilization, and cost trends. Generates reports that provide data-based insights.
  • Responsible for administration of benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and other supplementary benefits.
  • Ensures smooth open enrollment process by preparing materials, coordinating communications, answering team member questions, and coordinating with external vendors as needed.
  • Ensures accurate processing of benefits enrollments, changes, terminations, etc.
  • Maintains benefit documentation, including plan summaries, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinates with vendors to resolve benefits-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Provides exceptional customer service and support to team members. Responds to inquiries in a timely manner and provides accurate information.
  • Supports the creation and delivery of benefits training sessions, new hire orientations, etc.
  • Supports and maintains the Benefits technology platform: Completes system maintenance and updates, Provides customer support and issue resolution, Researches and resolves system issues
  • Ensures compliance with ACA regulations, including eligibility determination, form creation, compliance testing, and government filings.
