About The Position

As a Benefits Administrator II, you'll serve as a trusted benefits expert and strategic partner, helping to ensure our benefits programs remain competitive, compliant, and meaningful for coworkers. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support key wellbeing initiatives while making data-driven recommendations that improve the overall coworker experience.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4–6 years of experience in benefits administration, insurance, HR, or a related field
  • Experience working with health, disability, life insurance, and other employee benefit plans
  • Strong understanding of benefit plan documents and insurance terminology
  • Knowledge of ERISA and benefits-related regulations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and enhance benefit offerings based on market trends and coworker needs
  • Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis
  • Analyze benefit utilization, coworker feedback, and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support the development of long-term wellbeing strategies
  • Manage benefits-related projects from planning through implementation
  • Develop project timelines, identify risks, and coordinate stakeholders
  • Document processes and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Partner across departments to advance strategic initiatives
  • Support relationships with brokers, carriers, and benefit vendors
  • Participate in vendor renewals, market reviews, and contract discussions
  • Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements
  • Provide analytical insights and employee experience perspectives during decision-making processes
  • Support compliance with applicable benefits regulations and requirements
  • Assist with audits and preparation of compliance documentation
  • Identify and escalate potential compliance or operational concerns
  • Participate in fiduciary oversight activities
  • Help develop and improve benefits education and communication strategies
  • Advocate for a simple, people-first benefits experience
  • Support coworkers through benefit enrollment periods and important life events
  • Identify opportunities to improve understanding and engagement with benefit programs
