About The Position

The Partners Group is seeking a client-focused employee benefits professional to join their Employee Benefits team in Meridian, Idaho, as a Benefits Account Manager. This role involves serving as a trusted resource for assigned employee benefits clients, providing proactive guidance, responsive service, and effective solutions. The Benefits Account Manager will coordinate renewal strategy, benefit plan implementation, carrier relationships, and ongoing client service activities to help clients make informed decisions and maximize their benefits programs. This position requires close partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless client experience and deliver exceptional service. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, managing multiple priorities, delivering high-quality work, and acting as a knowledgeable resource in employee benefits. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical benefits expertise, take ownership of their work, and value collaboration, curiosity, organization, and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of employee benefits, insurance, or related industry experience
  • Active Life & Health insurance producer license
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and client service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with level funded and self-funded benefit plans strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in an Account Manager or similar client-facing role within a brokerage environment
  • Familiarity with employee benefits compliance, regulatory considerations, or plan design analysis
  • Experience supporting marketing efforts such as RFP development, renewal strategy, or cost projections

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned book of employee benefits clients
  • Lead annual renewal planning and execution
  • Coordinate benefit plan implementations and service activities
  • Advise clients on benefits programs and compliance matters
  • Prepare client reports, presentations, and communications
  • Partner with carriers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service
