Requirements

  • Active Life & Health Insurance License, or willingness to obtain shortly after hire.
  • Previous experience in employee benefits, group health insurance, account management, or client service.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with benefits administration platforms, agency management systems, or CRM software such as AMS360, Epic, or Salesforce is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employer groups and key decision-makers.
  • Respond promptly to client questions regarding health and employee benefits programs.
  • Assist clients with claims issues, eligibility updates, enrollments, and policy changes.
  • Process new business, renewals, and market employee benefit plans with insurance carriers.
  • Support annual renewal strategy, open enrollment, and implementation activities.
  • Ensure accurate benefit enrollments and maintain data integrity across benefits administration systems.
  • Audit enrollment and billing information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process carrier invoices and billing reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with producers, carriers, and internal team members to deliver outstanding client service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Stay current on employee benefits products, carrier updates, and industry regulations.
