Schedule: Full Time (40 hours per week) - Days What You’ll Do Performs day-to-day administration of benefits according to plan documents and Federal and State regulations that includes data entry, communication and distribution of benefits information to employees, and acts as a liaison between employees and vendors as needed. Performs payroll/vendor audits to ensure accuracy of employee deductions and vendor billing. Assists with all aspects of employee benefits including annual events, such as Benefit Bonanza, Open Enrollment, and requirements of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Performs day-to-day administration of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other leaves of absence programs, under the guidance of the Benefits Coordinator and the Chief Human Resources Officer in accordance with Federal and State regulation, and Freeman Health System Policies and procedures. Monitors, updates, and leave participants of their current status and coordinates with management on a daily basis. Assists in the development and presentation of FMLA information and training programs for employees and management. Assists the Benefits Coordinator and other staff with assignments as needed.
