About The Position

Integrated Labor Solutions (ILS) is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Benefits Sales Representative to join our team. Overview: Responsible for driving client satisfaction and revenue growth through consultative sales and high-touch benefits support. Serves as a trusted advisor to clients by identifying needs, recommending benefit solutions, and proactively expanding benefit participation. Acts as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless enrollment, retention, and long-term value of employee benefit programs.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration, insurance sales, or customer support.
  • Must pass background and reference checks
  • Must be able to come into the office
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Type at least 40 words per minute
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Active listening skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capable of simplifying complex information effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and related regulations
  • Holds an insurance license (Life & Health)
  • Adapts communication style as needed
  • Attentive to detail
  • Excellent time management capabilities
  • Knowledgeable about enrollment, claims, and reconciliation procedures
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Teams, Planner, and Outlook
  • Highly organized and self-motivated; solves problems and thinks critically while working independently, exercising sound judgment and making accurate, timely decisions
  • Demonstrates accountability and excels at maintaining quality and managing time
  • Works well as part of a team and collaborates effectively with clients, consultants, vendors, coworkers, and other employees
  • Exhibits professionalism, reliability, responsibility, integrity, honesty, and compassion alongside a strong work ethic
  • Diligent in meeting all obligations within agreed deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Engage clients in person, remotely, and by phone to explain benefit options.
  • Identify and close upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Use consultative conversations to match solutions with client needs.
  • Achieve sales, enrollment, and performance targets.
  • Act as main contact for benefit questions, enrollment, and support.
  • Promote the company and products at meetings and events.
  • Quickly resolve client issues to maintain satisfaction.
  • Handle sales, support, and enrollment calls, chats, and emails.
  • Use Dynamics 365 and other tools to promote sales and strengthen client relationships.
  • Gather and report client feedback.
  • Work with internal and external teams to provide top service.
  • Stay current on company products.
  • Create sales training materials for support staff.
  • Other duties as assigned
