This role provides administrative and programmatic supervision to staff, focusing on case management services. The supervisor will review case management plans, develop guidelines, assign caseloads, and coordinate staff activities. Responsibilities include holding conferences to review cases, evaluating staff performance, and making recommendations for hiring, discipline, transfer, promotion, and termination. The supervisor will also represent staff needs to senior management, implement internal policies, interpret regulations, train new employees, determine staffing needs, maintain records, and prepare reports. Additionally, the role involves participating in agency administrative policy development, making decisions on complex cases, authorizing emergency assistance, serving as a liaison to other agencies, monitoring program expenditures, and meeting with community groups to foster cooperative relationships. The supervisor may also act on behalf of the Director of Social Services as designated.
