The Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian Benefactor Program is a concierge program designed to steward Hoag's highest-level donors. The Benefactor Program Liaisons will work on an on-call basis to support the program and be available to come to the hospital to assist Benefactors and/or their immediate family members/friends as needed. This role does not impact the speed, type, or level of medical care patients receive, as all patients receive the same quality of medical care at Hoag. The Liaison will meet with Benefactors and/or their families, spend time with them, and assist with any concierge-type needs or requests. They will also meet Benefactors for scheduled appointments and surgeries, acting as a liaison for the Benefactor and/or their family throughout their appointment or surgery. Additionally, the Liaison will act as a liaison between the Benefactor and/or family members and hospital staff in the ECU and other departments/units. They will schedule requested appointments within Hoag and with outside physician offices, perform patient pre-registration, notify Department/Unit directors of scheduled Benefactor appointments or surgeries, and contact physician offices to obtain procedural orders prior to patient arrival for scheduled tests or procedures. Other duties may be assigned.
