Nelson Coleman Jewelers is a family-owned business with generations of jewelry expertise, proudly serving our local community. We're looking for a skilled Bench Jeweler to join our Inwood, WV team - someone who takes pride in their craft and wants to be part of a close-knit, supportive shop where your work genuinely matters to the people walking through our door.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or Technical/Vocational equivalent
- 3+ years of jewelry repair, restoration, and design experience
- Working knowledge of precious stones, metals, and cost estimating
- Dependable, eager to learn, and takes pride in quality work
Nice To Haves
- Accredited Jeweler Professional (AJP) certification preferred - we will support the right candidate in obtaining it
Responsibilities
- Create custom jewelry pieces from designer specifications
- Perform jewelry repairs, sizing, and restoration
- Conduct quality assurance checks before delivery
- Provide technical consultation to our sales team
- Manage project timelines and communicate updates with the Repair Coordinator and Store Manager
