About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Depending on skillset, team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces. The team focuses on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset, experience, and qualifications.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
Basic computer skills.
Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
Full-time schedule consists of a 40-hour work week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition.
Perform jewelry repairs, including work such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, and minor ring repairs.
Create custom jewelry designs and pieces, depending on skillset.
Perform skilled bench-jeweler work such as creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design work.
Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
