About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom pieces according to their current skillsets. They are expected to deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime; hours vary and may include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset and high standards for quality work.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Restore jewelry to its original condition and perform jewelry repairs.
Design and create custom jewelry as appropriate to current skillset.
Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
Perform bench-jeweler work such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, stone mounting, ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design, according to skills.
