About The Position

Nelson Coleman Jewelers, a family business with generations of jewelry expertise, is seeking a skilled Bench Jeweler to create custom pieces and perform expert repairs. This is a full-time position within the Technical Services Department, reporting to the Store Manager. The role involves creating custom jewelry, performing repairs and restorations, conducting quality checks, consulting with the sales team, and managing project timelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years jewelry repair, restoration, and design experience
• Accredited Jeweler Professional certification
• Expert knowledge of precious stones, metals, and cost estimation
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn

Responsibilities

• Create custom jewelry pieces from designer specifications
• Perform jewelry repairs, sizing, and restoration
• Conduct quality assurance checks
• Provide technical consultation to sales team
• Manage project timelines and communicate status updates
