About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Bench Carpenter to join our team. This role focuses on the fabrication and assembly of custom millwork components using PVC materials. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints, operating various carpentry tools and machinery, and maintaining high-quality standards. This position works a Monday-Friday schedule from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM and includes a night shift differential.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Experience with carpentry tools, including those specifically suited for PVC work.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during fabrication and assembly.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a bench carpenter, fabricator, or similar role preferred.
Familiarity with PVC material is highly desirable; training may be provided for candidates with related carpentry experience.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble custom millwork components using PVC materials.
Operate a variety of tools and machinery, including routers, saws, sanders, and other equipment, to cut, shape, and finish PVC.
Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to create precise and durable products.
Inspect work throughout the process to ensure all components meet company and client quality standards.
Perform final inspections to confirm accurate assembly, measurements, and finishes.
Maintain and operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment issues promptly.
Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
