About The Position

This role involves the fabrication and assembly of custom millwork components using PVC materials. The Bench Carpenter II will operate various tools and machinery to cut, shape, and finish PVC according to blueprints and technical drawings. Responsibilities also include quality control, tool and equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, proficiency in reading technical documents, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Experience with carpentry tools, including those specifically suited for PVC work.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during fabrication and assembly.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a bench carpenter, fabricator, or similar role preferred.
Familiarity with PVC material is highly desirable; training may be provided for candidates with related carpentry experience.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble custom millwork components using PVC materials.
Operate a variety of tools and machinery, including routers, saws, sanders, and other equipment, to cut, shape, and finish PVC.
Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to create precise and durable products.
Inspect work throughout the process to ensure all components meet company and client quality standards.
Perform final inspections to confirm accurate assembly, measurements, and finishes.
Maintain and operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment issues promptly.
Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
