Beltline Arboretum Lead

Trees AtlantaAtlanta, GA
Onsite

About The Position

The Atlanta Beltline is a sustainable redevelopment initiative that links a network of public parks, multi-use trails, and light-rail transit along a primary paved corridor repurposed from a historic 22-mile railroad loop. Encircling downtown Atlanta, it directly connects 45 neighborhoods and encourages walking over driving as residents move between places to live, work, and play. With nearly 2 million annual trail users, the Atlanta Beltline Arboretum offers an exceptional opportunity to educate the public about ecological restoration, the use of native plants, and the role of urban ecology in reconnecting fragmented communities. As part of Atlanta’s urban forest, the Arboretum functions as an ecological corridor and a living learning environment that supports education, community science, and research. Trees Atlanta is an integral partner with Atlanta Beltline Inc., and the Beltline Arboretum Lead will be an instrumental team member in the maintenance of the Arboretum. This position is a full-time, on-site field position and is not eligible for remote work.
