About The Position

Paulo Cleveland is seeking a Production Team Member – Belt Furnace Operator for their Willoughby, OH location. This full-time position offers a wage of $20.16 per hour and is on the 1st shift. The role involves transporting parts, inspecting them for defects, loading them onto the furnace belt, monitoring and adjusting furnace operations, maintaining traceability, unloading processed parts, and communicating production issues to supervisors. The company emphasizes internal promotion, with 75% of operators and managers having started as Team Members.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Must be able to obtain a forklift certification.
3 months of work experience.

Responsibilities

Transport parts to the staging area for production using equipment such as forklifts, hoists or pallet jacks.
Visually inspect parts for defects, and position fixtures and parts.
Load parts on the furnace belt as instructed on the Shop Order.
Monitor the furnace, adjusting process variables such as temperature, belt speed, hydrogen flow scopes, and current, as required.
Maintain traceability of all orders.
Unload parts after processing in accordance with Shop Order.
Communicate production problems to a supervisor and/or operator.
