About The Position

This role involves feeding bellies onto conveyors for injection with cure. The primary responsibility is to maintain a continuous flow of bellies, ensuring they are end-to-end without significant overlap. The position also requires inspecting bellies for bones or ribs, inserting a comb into each belly, and then picking them up two at a time to hang on trees. These trees are then weighed, documented, and moved to a drip cooler before being loaded into a smokehouse. Bellies weigh between 15-30 lbs after injection.
