Requirements

  • Natural people-person who finds genuine joy in making others feel welcome
  • Polished, attentive, and able to engage guests and team members with warmth and professionalism at all times
  • Resourceful and responsive, with the ability to fulfill guest requests, including challenging ones, in a timely manner
  • Physically able to stand, walk, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds, and comfortable navigating stairs throughout a shift
  • Flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior guest-facing hospitality experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet every arriving and departing guest with a warm welcome, using their name to create a personal connection from the very first moment
  • Escort guests to their rooms, assist with luggage, and ensure they feel fully at home in the hotel
  • Store and retrieve guest luggage for both day visits and overnight stays
  • Share your knowledge of the hotel's amenities, services, and the surrounding Wilmington community, offering dining and entertainment recommendations with confidence
  • Serve as an ambassador for HOTEL DU PONT and the city we are proud to call home
