The Bellman plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive a warm welcome and seamless assistance throughout their visit. This position involves greeting guests upon arrival, efficiently handling luggage, escorting guests to their rooms, and providing relevant information about the hotel's facilities and local attractions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong commitment to enhancing guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving ability.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in hospitality or a similar customer-facing role is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, creating a positive first and last impression.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading their luggage in a safe and efficient manner.
- Escort guests to their rooms and provide an overview of the room amenities and hotel services.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby and entrance areas.
- Coordinate with the front desk and concierge to ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out processes.
- Provide information about local attractions, transportation options, and hotel policies.
