About The Position

The Bellman delivers luggage to and from the guests’ hotel rooms. The Bellman position requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights, holidays, and weekends. Responsibilities include transferring baggage, arranging shipments, providing guests with information on hotel services and amenities, delivering requested amenities, supplying travel information, escorting guests to rooms, arranging for cleaning and repair of guests' clothing, computing charge slips, and performing other related services as requested.

Responsibilities

Transfer trunks, packages, and other baggage to room or loading area
Arrange for outgoing freight, express or mail shipments, computes charges, tags article and records information such as addressee, addressor, carrier and charges on specified forms
Supply guests with information on hotel services and amenities
Deliver requested amenities to guest rooms
Supply guests with travel information such as transportation rates, routes and schedules
Escort incoming guest to room
Arrange for cleaning, laundering and repair of guests' clothing and other items
Compute charge slips for services rendered guests and forward slips to front desk
Perform related services as requested by guest or manager
Other duties as assigned
