About The Position

The Bellman is responsible for opening vehicle doors for arriving and departing guests, greeting guests warmly, and assisting them with their luggage. This role also involves promoting hotel services, maintaining the cleanliness of entrances, and responding to guest complaints. The job requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality, friendly and greet guests with a smile.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests.
• Must be able to carry, push, or lift items weighing up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Open vehicle doors when a guest arrives and departs.
• Assist incoming and outgoing guests with transporting luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Secure, tag, and store luggage at guests’ request.
• Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests.
• Regularly inspect and clean hotel entrances and surrounding areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Carry, push, or lift items weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Respond appropriately to guest complaints.
• Inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances, or dissatisfied guests.
