The Bell Services Dispatcher is primarily responsible for scheduling and coordinating guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accurate luggage and package deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service. You will arrange for any other deliveries guests may require such as prescription drugs, packages, and more. You will show excellent organizational and communication skills in the juggling of constantly changing flight information and the subsequent need to arrange travel for guests in a timely manner. You will need to be available to work weekends.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Internet Search Tools
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple interruptions while accomplishing your duties
  • Excellent communicator, both in person and via the phone
  • Top-notch customer service skills
  • Able to work with a wide variety of people
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good at quickly grasping computer applications
  • Limited experience required (1-2 years previous experience in same or related field)
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using the Opera operating system

Responsibilities

  • Organizes and directs bell services efficiently including luggage delivery, luggage pickup, valeting of cars, and assisting with the execution of transportation duties as needed.
  • Maintains and updates a daily log sheet for luggage pick up and delivery; room changes; guest-requested rides; deliveries including flowers, federal express mail, and faxes.
  • Accesses daily reports from Opera to create a daily arrival and departure schedule for the guests and for the Bell Staff transportation services.
  • Communicates frequently with guests about ever-changing travel schedules and flight changes that need adjusting.
  • Communicates frequently with drivers advising of any flight or guest changes relating to specific drivers assigned runs.
  • Cross trains and schedules, but does not hire, fire, conduct performance management responsibilities.
