What You Will Do: As an Engineering Services Dispatcher, you will play an essential role within our Engineering department, reporting to the Supervisor of Engineering Services. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Efficiently schedule and dispatch line locates, Aerial Pipeline Reports, leak investigations, and corrosion work orders using the work management system KloudGin. This includes continuous collaboration with line locators, leak surveyors, cathodic protection technicians and several other operations departments in Anchorage and branch offices located in other regions of the system. Serve as the primary trainer and administrative liaison for the Company, troubleshooting KloudGin system, and facilitating communication with vendors and staff to resolve issues. Provide field crews with guidance and ensure work orders are correctly dispatched and executed. Communicate with the flight service provider to ensure that aerial pipeline inspections completed as required. Manage and dispatch aerial patrols for Anchorage and Mat-Valley, maintaining comprehensive documentation for regulatory audits and compliance. Respond urgently to emergency locate requests, interpreting instructions and dispatching the appropriate personnel to address critical situations. Leverage historical pipeline data to ensure accurate crew assignments and effective work area coverage. Review and coordinate on-hold and site-meet locate tickets, liaising with contractors and assigning tasks as needed. Review completed line locate tasks and ensure the correct documentation is recorded, and videos are attached. Maintain direct communication with the Alaska Digline 811 call center when issues occur, on tickets and support for all divisions. Support line locater and operation technician teams making decisions to maintain workflow and operational continuity. Assist in scheduling and assigning standby requests for transmission-pressure and distribution pressure jobs to qualified line locators. Review and understand as-builts, knowing how to interpret and communicate pipeline system data to field personnel, customers, and contractors. Assist in developing and maintaining as-built documentation and distribution logs for accurate pipeline records. Research and relay critical pipeline information, such as tie-down information, valve information, and completion report data, to support various field departments during intricate locate activities. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Assist in emergency response situations as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and customers. Interaction with the public: Interact with the public and customers in a polite and professional manner.
