About The Position

This is a seasonal position only on Saturdays, working 8-10 hours weekly. The pay is $12.77 per hour. The position is responsible for ringing bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations, ensuring the Kettle is never left unattended, and greeting the public in a courteous and friendly manner. Duties are performed standing and may involve brief or occasional periods of sitting or walking. Limited physical effort is required, associated with lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. The role requires the ability to stand in one location for extended periods in outside weather conditions with breaks and lunch periods as required by State law. All duties must be conducted with an understanding of the mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, and protocol of The Salvation Army and its Christian principles, with the highest level of professionalism.
