About The Position

Stein Eriksen Lodge, an authentic European lodge nestled mid-mountain at the acclaimed Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, is seeking a Bell Attendant. Named after Norwegian Olympic Gold Medal skier Stein Eriksen, the Lodge is known as a premiere year-round destination. The Stein Collection creates legendary experiences for its team members, guests, and owners across its four properties. The Bell Attendant will provide prompt, courteous service to guests, familiarize them with the Lodge, and establish high standards of conduct to maintain a professional image.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended period of times.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests sincerely and make their stay as enjoyable as possible.
• Effectively and seriously respond and deal with the guests needs and requests.
• Be fully aware of daily functions in the hotel.
• Knowledgeable of surrounding area’s attractions and points of interests.
• Assist guests at check-in and checkout.
• Tag, store, and distribute baggage.
• Orient guests to the Lodge and facilities.
• Show rooms and property to visitors.
• Delivery of items such as faxes, messages, packages, and flowers to the rooms as needed.
• Maintain fires in the fireplaces in the main entrance and main lobby.
• Provide ski and weather information.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional work area (including bell stand, room 11, and entire front entrance in the garage).
• Have working knowledge of PBX console and procedures.
• Respond to all emergency situations, and know all the safety and emergency procedures and how to act upon them.
• Be able to quote basic history of the Stein Eriksen Lodge, Deer Valley, and Park City.
• Demonstrate an outgoing and pleasant attitude with all the guests and employees.
• Take all necessary measures to help the guests and fellow employees.
