About The Position
Ring bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations. Keep the kettle attended at all times and greet the public in a courteous and friendly manner. Perform duties in accordance with The Salvation Army’s ministry and Christian principles. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to stand in one location for extended periods in outside weather conditions, with breaks and lunch periods as required by state law.
- Ability to perform duties with an understanding of The Salvation Army’s mission, ministry, philosophy, culture, and protocol, and in accordance with its Christian principles.
- Ability to lift and carry light objects weighing less than 25 pounds; this is required for 5–10% of work time.
- No formal education or experience requirements.
- No licenses or certifications required.
