About The Position

The Bell Person is responsible for assisting with the check-in/check-out processes and accommodating guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate golf carts and resort vehicles. The Bell Person must adhere to the company's service culture, maintain high standards of appearance, and be knowledgeable about resort services, events, and local attractions. They will assist with luggage, provide shuttle services, and perform light maintenance on vehicles. This position also involves assisting with room changes and guest requests, ensuring a positive guest experience.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Must be 18 years of age to operate a golf cart and Silverado Resorts vehicles.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand during entire shift.
  • Must be able to move/maneuver in an outdoor environment during the changing seasons.
  • Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with check-in/check-out processes.
  • Accommodate guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
  • Actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
  • Participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
  • Be knowledgeable of all VIP areas.
  • Be aware of all daily events.
  • Report Safety or Guests Hazards to the Guest services management or Safety and Loss Prevention team.
  • Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Have thorough knowledge of the resorts, its’ features, and benefits.
  • Load and unload luggage carts.
  • Escort guests and deliver luggage to rooms and familiarize them with resort services and amenities (hours of outlets, pool, and exercise room, etc.).
  • Provide a brief tour of the guest room highlighting the main features and benefits.
  • Check/store luggage for arrivals and departures with luggage tags.
  • Deliver luggage or/and amenities to the guest rooms.
  • Provide shuttle service throughout Silverado Resort via golf cart and guest services vehicles.
  • Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance of guest service vehicles and golf carts.
  • Assist with room changes.
  • Maintain current listing of local and area attractions, special events and activities.
  • Maintain list of local transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc.
  • Assist Houseperson with guest requests.
  • Provide information, maps and directions as required.
  • Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
