The Bell Attendant is responsible for handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. This role involves assisting guests with inquiries, services, directions, hours of operation, key hotel personnel, in-house events, recommendations for off-property activities, and providing arriving guests with a hotel orientation. The Bell Attendant escorts guests to their rooms while delivering luggage upon check-in, and picks up luggage upon departure, moving it to storage or the Front Drive. They maintain proper records of stored luggage, package deliveries, and pick-ups in compliance with Four Seasons Standards. This position also helps resolve customer complaints and issues related to the front drive. The Bell Attendant may also complete duties of a Doorman, Bellman, Valet Driver, or House car Attendant in the absence of coworkers or when necessary. They work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Additionally, they perform duties related to guests' and residents' seasonal equipment storage or delivery of ski equipment, mountain bikes, and related gear when needed. They assist the Concierge and Front Desk with deliveries, tasks, and special requests, and perform errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off the hotel property.
