About The Position

The Bell Attendant at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel is responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient arrival and departure experience for all guests. This role involves assisting guests with their luggage, providing information about the hotel’s amenities, and ensuring guests have a memorable and pleasant stay.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of experience in a guest-facing hospitality role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to provide clear and concise information.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
  • Quick thinker with the ability to anticipate guest needs and address or resolve guest issues effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and team members.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of experience in Valet or Bell services role.
  • Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO).
  • Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions.
  • The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I).
  • DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
  • Assist guests with luggage, including loading and unloading from vehicles and deliver guest mail or packages as needed.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing a brief orientation of the room and hotel facilities.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide directions and information about the local area, hotel amenities and services.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests.
  • Ensure effective and professional communication via radio, phone or in-person with other departments, such as front desk, housekeeping and concierge, to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Log and report any maintenance issues or guest concerns.
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Report any suspicious activities or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bell desk and storage areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.
