Requirements

Experience using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Supports.
Experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Ability to confidently follow behavior support plans and respond calmly to challenging behaviors.
Engaging, patient, reliable, and enjoys building positive relationships.
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
Ability to safely support an adult male with physical and behavioral needs.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or training in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
RBT, TSS, NADD, or other behavioral health certifications.
Experience with alternative communication systems such as PECS or AAC.

Responsibilities

Implement Positive Behavior Support and ABA strategies.
Support community outings, recreation, and meaningful activities.
Teach and reinforce communication, social, and daily living skills.
Assist with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of 11 professionals to provide consistent, high-quality support.
